I really like this start orb, but every time I go to install it (using the software you link to) Avast pops up telling me it's just blocked an infection (FileRepMalware) and it stops the orb from being installed . I've tried installing around 20 other orbs and none of them but yours have this issue. I would really like to use this start orb as it fits perfectly with my theme, but I don't want to risk infecting my computer. I've scanned every file with MalwareBytes and Avast 3-4 times each and nothing comes up until I go to install your theme .
Any help with this would be much appreciated!
Here's a link to a screenshot of my desktop when this happens [Link] (Note: I don't have any other programs aside from Avast running while I do this)
Not sure what to tell you my friend. I know avast is pretty paranoid abd you the only one complaining about this. I was using nod32 at the time I made the start button on win 7 and it worked just fine. And as I can see from the screenshot, avast is not warning you about the image. So the image of the button is clean.
Update: I just found out I was using the old 2.6 version of the Start Orb Changer. That's what was causing the whole issue. I just downloaded and used the newest version (V5, the one you linked to that I thought I was already using) and everything went smoothly. I'm so sorry for the confusion! Again, your orb is great! No viruses!
dude i love your VS...but can you tell me one thing : how can i set my taskbar to be the exact thing like yours is on the screenshots...i must be missing some link on how to do it...cause the only thing i have changed is windows orb to leaf orb and explorer buttons...mozilla remained unchanged...help pls,i'm freaking out
change what about your taskbar? you can only change the start orb. or maybe you mean the icons pinned to the taskbar? that's easy... just change the icons to the shortcuts on your taskbar. you can do that by creating a folder with the shortcuts you want to place on the taskbar, change their icons and drag them to the taskbar one by one. the icons I use are from the token pack: [link]
