Thunderbird 5, 6 Fix by dpcdpc11 Thunderbird 5, 6 Fix by dpcdpc11
Here's what you have to do to fix the missing Titlebar in Thunderbird when using certain Windows 7 Styles with 1px border like my Maverick for Win7 or Minimal Taste Reloaded.

1. Go to your Thunderbird installation folder and backup the file omni.jar. For those using Thunderbird Portable you can find the file at: ThunderbirdPortable\App\Thunderbird\
2. Unpack the content of this archive
3. Copy the file omni.jar from the archive to the root of your Thunderbird installation folder, or for those using Thunderbird Portable copy the file to: ThunderbirdPortable\App\Thunderbird\
4. Start you Thunderbird email client and email away without having to worry about the Titlebar ever disappearing again!

Also don't forget to check out the Firefox Fix as well: [link]

don't think so... I've stopped updating this Fix for thunderbird since each time they change the code like crazy and not in a good way!

I wish it was simple... then I would do it myself, but it aint!
You basically got to scavenge through 3 files for code that might fix this:
addressbook.css
messengercompose.css
primaryToolbar.css
All these can be found in omni.jar file.
By trial and error I found a few lines of code which by commenting them out it would fix the transparency problem.
But with every release of Firefox and Thunderbird the code is more complex an it could take me days to find the problematic code. And it's not a sure thing that in the latest Thunderbird there is such a code.
So if you do it.. then good luck!
In the mean time, I made this theme: [link] which doesn't need the fix anymore.

The fix doesn't work with the latest version of Thunderbird. :/ For some reason, 'omni.ja' instead of 'omni.jar'. I've tried renaming the .jar fix, but to no avail. Is another fix available?

At the pace Mozilla is updating their software, jumping from a major version to another every few weeks is just crazy and I don't have the time right now to keep up with the this Fix.
Every time the add some idiotic code to the CSS and without any guides about that mess, it's hard to figure out what to remove in order for the 1px window frame themes to work.
So I can't promise you anything right now.
Thanks for taking interest in my stuff anyway!

Sorry, meant to say "For some reason, it is now 'omni.ja' that is in the Thunderbird directory instead of 'omni.jar'."
